General Preparation
ALWAYS HEAT THOROUGHLY.
Pan Fry: Cut smoked sausage sections in half lengthwise or into ½" slices. Add to a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook 6-9 minutes, turning frequently.
Grill: Grill over medium-high heat for 12-14 minutes, turning frequently.
Stove Top: Add sausage to 2-3 inches of boiling water. Simmer for 10-12 minutes.
Serving Suggestion: For a quick and easy one-pot meal, slice one bell pepper and one medium onion and add to a non-stick skillet. Cook over medium heat until tender. In the meantime, slice Hillshire Farm Smoked Sausage. Add sausage to skillet and cook for 6-9 minutes, turning frequently. Remove from heat, serve, and dinner’s done!
